An audio history of the art of Spoken Word, written, produced and narrated by e.g. bailey. Originally produced for KFAI Fresh Air Radio, it has been broadcasted on the station for a number of years. It covers the development and evolution of oral tradition, along with various elements, strains and influences--musical, literary and cultural--that contributed to Spoken Word as we know it today. It has also been used in classrooms and workshop to teach students on various aspects of the development of the Spoken Word art form.
